Log buildings seem irresistible to Bob Timberlake. Both of his studios have been of log construction, and his skill in visually describing their texture seems unsurpassed. This scene is from his old Riverwood studio in Southmont, NC. Bob especially loves the winter shadows tracing up and across the sides of old houses and barns. Not surprisingly, Bob has said, "I love handmade things."
